Golf superstar Phil Mickelson and his wife, Amy, are selling their Rancho Santa Fe estate — complete with putting green. Asking price: A smidge under $6 million. Mickelson’s compound set on 5 acres in San Diego County includes: a 9,200-square-foot Tuscan-style main house; two guesthouses; a pool; an exercise room; a sauna; and a safe room.
The main house is a five-bedroom, 6.5-bath ranch loaded with such Old World details as hand-carved stone fireplaces, leaded glass windows and trussed beams. The exterior space includes an outdoor kitchen, fireplace and citrus trees, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Each guesthouse has one bedroom and one bath.
If you’ve ever picked up a club, you know that Mickelson is a fan-favorite lefty who has won five majors, including the Masters tournament three times. Linda Sansone, who is co-listing the property with Jordan Cohen, told AOL that the property is perfect for a couple, a family, and, of course, someone who loves golf. “There is a putting green there,” Sansone confirms.
The estate has been on and off the market for years, and at one time was listed for more than $12 million.
